Effective Collaboration Workshop

Turn friction into stronger collaboration. The workshop uncovers collaboration styles, expectations, hidden friction and relationship patterns that may be limiting your team's performance.

Work better together

Even teams that appear to work well together can have hidden friction, unclear expectations or collaboration patterns that limit their effectiveness. This workshop helps teams understand how they currently work together, uncover areas that may be holding them back, and define practical steps towards stronger and more effective collaboration.

Goals

Help team members understand their collaboration styles, expectations and preferences. Identify differences that can create unnecessary friction or misunderstandings. Address common root causes of ineffective collaboration — including issues that may not be visible on the surface. Surface existing pain points that are worth addressing. Build greater trust and openness within the team. Assess the current quality of collaboration, identify the most important opportunities for improvement and define practical next steps.

Where, how long, for whom

In person strongly preferred; hybrid or online delivery is also possible. Designed for teams or leadership groups. 1-day workshop, ideally followed by an informal dinner or social activity together.

High-level structure

Exploring individual collaboration styles and preferences. Introduction to the “4 seemingly good work relationship types”. Reflection on the current relationships and collaboration styles within the group. Introduction to 10C Collaboration: what effective collaboration looks like, what enables it and what commonly prevents it. Team or organizational collaboration assessment: current state, desired state and key gaps. Identification of the most important areas for improvement and definition of practical next steps.

What happens next

The workshop can work as a standalone intervention, but it can also serve as a starting point for longer-term collaboration. Follow-up work can focus on addressing the most important gaps identified during the workshop and helping the team move from “seemingly good relationships” — or more significant collaboration challenges — towards stronger, healthier and more effective 10C Collaboration.
